GeishaDoll asked:
My cat has issues with calcium oxalate stones. The vet recommends trying to get is urine pH 7.5 or higher. Has anyone had experience with this? I have already tried C/D, S/O to no avail. Will a raw diet help?

That seems a little strange. Struvite crystals can be dissolved by acidifying the urine. But oxalate crystals are insoluble in water, so they are managed with diet, not normally any pH change.

Raw diets – the diet that Nature created the cat to eat – can solve many problems. It’s surely worth a try.
